Fractures and Broken Bone Care for All Ages
When it comes to treating a fracture, the least invasive approach is often the best one. The majority of bone fractures only require serious surgery as a last resort. Unless a bone fracture is complicated by its extenuating circumstances, typical treatments are completed on an outpatient basis.

Arthroscopy for Work, Personal, Sports Injuries
Arthroscopy, or arthroscopic surgery is a minimally invasive orthopedic surgery performed by Dr. Robert Reisch, M.D. This type of surgery is used for countless work-related injuries, personal injuries stemming from accidents, including falls, as well injuries from sports.
PRP and Synvisc Injections
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Synvisc Injections are non-surgical treatments offered by Encino Orthopedics in order to relieve pain and/or to expedite the recovery process following surgery. PRP injections are particularly useful in reducing or alleviating pain caused by arthritis, tendonitis, muscle and ligament injuries. Likewise, Synvisc injections offered in the San Fernando Valley at Encino Orthopedics Center is used to treat patients with joint pain stemming from arthritis and osteoarthritis. PRP and Synvisc Injections are both available as in-house treatments. Patients may return to their regular routines following Synvisc or PRP Injections.
Shoulder/Chest/Arm Injuries
Shoulder, chest and arm injuries are treated by Dr. Reisch using the latest in nonsurgical and/or arthroscopic surgery, to expedite recovery time, and to minimize the risk of complications or side effects. Treatments for shoulder, chest and arm injuries at Encino Orthopedics may involve physical therapy, bracing, and in some cases, minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery may be performed as an outpatient procedure.
Knee Injuries

Ankles
Ankle sprains, strains, and fractures are very common orthopedic injuries. With same day appointments often available, Dr. Reisch, founder of Encino Orthopedics uses the least invasive methods for helping you to recover from an ankle injury. Whether you need a brace, physical therapy, or require minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to treat your injured ankle, Dr. Reisch will inform you of all treatment options available in order to allow you to return to your daily activities as soon as possible.
Hip
Hip injuries range from minor to severe, and as such, require that an expert orthopedic surgeon evaluate your injury, in order to best prescribe a course of treatment. In some cases, a hip injury may be best treated with surgery. In many other cases however, nonsurgical treatments, including NSAIDs, along with rest and physical therapy may be all that is needed to relieve you of hip pain. At Encino Orthopedics Center, Dr. Reisch will custom tailor a step by step recovery plan for you, based upon the severity of your hip injury.
